Three Lac St Louis girls have been invited to the Team Canada U22 camp in Rockland, Ontario August 6 to August 16th. The three ladies are: Melodie Daoust, Jamie Leonoff and Laurieane Rougeau.
Meldoie, a forward, just completed two seasons with Edouard Montpetit CEGEP in Longueuil and has committed to the McGill Martlets for the coming season, joining the reigning CIS champions. Melodie had previously played on Canada's U18 squad in 2007, 2008 and 2009.
Laurieane, a defenseman, is returning to Cornell University where Laurieane has been a second team all american in her her freshman and sopohomore years. Laurieane captained Canada's first U18 squad, has been a member of Canada's U22 team for three years.
Jamie Leonoff, a goalie, just graduated from Pomfrets School and , while away at school, suited up for the Connecticut Polar Bears U19, Tier 1 team and attended the US Nationals. Jamie is committed to Yale University for the upcoming school year.
